Dr. Chesney West is the visionary Founder and Executive Director of There She Go Society. A dedicated mother and businesswoman, she holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and brings over 15 years of leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement experience.

Dr. West leads the organization’s signature Becoming Queens Scholarship Program and serves as a strong advocate for teen girls, women’s empowerment, and the advancement of women‑owned businesses. Her commitment to inspiring, educating, empowering, and supporting women, youth, and entrepreneurs serves as the foundation and driving force of the organization’s mission.

 We are honored to have Mrs. La Shonda Brown as the President of There She Go Society. A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Brown brings not only her leadership skills but also her heart for family and community into everything she does.

As President, she provides leadership and oversight to our programs, ensuring that our mission of empowering and uplifting young women continues to thrive. She works closely with the Board of Directors and our Founder to guide strategic direction, support fundraising initiatives, and strengthen community partnerships.

Mrs. Brown is deeply committed to fostering connection within our TSG community. She plays a vital role in engaging members through our Facebook group, helping to keep our supporters, scholarship recipients, and friends connected and informed. Her dedication to communication and outreach helps us extend our impact beyond events and programs—building a consistent and supportive presence in the lives of the women we serve.

 We are proud to introduce Ms. Kierra Cephas as the Vice President of There She Go Society. A devoted mother, passionate advocate for teen girls, and dedicated social worker, Ms. Cephas brings compassion, advocacy, and experience to her leadership role.

As Vice President, Ms. Cephas works hand in hand with the President and Board of Directors to carry out the vision and mission of TSG. Her responsibilities include supporting program planning and implementation, providing oversight for initiatives, assisting with fundraising efforts, and ensuring strong communication between leadership and members. She also serves as a key representative of TSG in the community, helping to build partnerships and create opportunities that uplift and empower young women.

With her background in social work and her deep commitment to advocacy, Ms. Cephas ensures that TSG remains responsive to the needs of the women and girls we serve. She is especially dedicated to fostering safe spaces for teen girls to learn, grow, and develop the confidence they need to face life’s challenges.
